Happy Veterans Day from WCSD

Across WCSD, students, staff, and communities gathered to celebrate our nation’s active-duty and veteran military members.

From heartfelt assemblies to student-led performances, schools across the district came together to honor those who have served and to thank military families for their sacrifices.

Students sang songs, read poems, shared personal tributes, and hosted special guests — including family members, neighbors, and local veterans — to show appreciation and learn more about the meaning of service and citizenship.

Each event reflected the unique spirit of its school community, highlighting gratitude, respect, and connection.
